Hymax Grip reducers

Hymax Grip reducer joins two pipe ends with different outside diameters and holds them restrained in place. It suits all common pipe materials, such as steel, ductile iron, PVC and PE. The reducers are available in DN40–DN300 and are a ductile iron coupling with a double-acting seal: a mechanical seal on tightening and a hydraulic seal from the pipe's internal water pressure. The working pressure is 16 bar and the gasket withstands -30 to +85 °C in continuous operation. All installation is carried out from the top side: clean the contact surfaces, check the outside diameter of the pipes, keep the minimum insertion depth at 95 or 125 mm and tighten the bolts to the specified torque. If a wider tolerance range is needed, the inner removable gasket layer is taken out.
