About the product
The Magnum pipe coupling is used for highly demanding installations where pipe ends need to be joined tightly and with high pressure resistance. The coupling withstands pressure loads of up to 4 bar and working temperatures from -50°C to +80°C. The extra-long face-to-face length of 370 mm provides greater flexibility and tolerates greater angular deflection during installation, which is an advantage when pipe ends are not fully aligned. The coupling is manufactured in EPDM as standard, with nitrile available on request for chemical resistance. Each coupling is supplied with a backing plate and extra heavy-duty acid-resistant hose clamps with t-bolts. The clamping range is matched to the outside diameter of the pipe and can be adjusted on request on both sides, allowing the coupling to be used with different pipe materials and sizes.
