About the product
Fernco saddle branch Eztap is used to connect a new pipe to an existing pipe retrospectively. The saddle fits all types of smooth pipes regardless of wall thickness, for example PVC, PE, steel, cast iron/ductile iron, concrete, asbestos cement, GRP or vitrified clay pipe. Eztap fits pipes with an outside diameter from 150 to 425 mm and is available with a 110 or 160 mm outlet. The saddle is flexible and manufactured in Fern-Flex with a mounting band in acid-resistant stainless steel. During installation, a hole is sawn or drilled in the pipe, approximately 115 mm for a 110 outlet and approximately 165 mm for a 160 outlet. The band is fed round the pipe and tightened by hand, the edges are folded down over the band and the screw on the other side is retightened to approximately 7 Nm. Maximum working temperature is 50 °C.
