About the product
Resilient-seated gate valve with full bore and BLOCKPLUS restrained sockets for direct connection to PE and PVC pipes. The valve is available in DN 50–200 for pipe outside diameters of 63–200 mm and is rated for PN16 with a working temperature of 0–70 °C, frost-free. The blue valve with EPDM is used for drinking water. The valve body is constructed in ductile iron, and the disc is fully vulcanised for resilient sealing. The connection is sealed with a double lip ring, and the restrained system means the sockets can be tightened from above, which simplifies installation in confined trenches. The closing torque is lower than standard, and the number of turns to the open position varies with the size. Suitable for PE 80, PE 100 and PVC pipe systems.
