About the product
Resilient-seated gate valve with flange at both ends, long face-to-face length F5 and full bore giving low pressure losses in the pipeline. The valve is available in DN 40–600 with flange drilling PN10/16 and is used for drinking water and neutral liquids in a blue version with EPDM, for wastewater in a red-brown version with NBR, and can also be supplied as a gas valve on request. The body is cast in ductile iron, the wedge is fully vulcanised and the stem is supplied as standard in acid-resistant stainless steel with rolled threads for high strength. Four stem seals and a fixed stem nut provide a long service life, and a cam ring holds the stem in place so that the closing torque stays low. The operating temperature is 0–70°C (frost-free) and the flanges comply with EN 1092-2 PN10/16. The valve is covered by a 15-year warranty.
