About the product
IBECO PE toploading saddles are designed to make simple tappings on an existing pipeline, and the toploading saddle is also a cost-effective alternative to prefabricated fittings. The saddle is manufactured in PE100RC and is used on polyethylene pipelines in SDR11, for both water and gas. The range covers pipes with outside diameter 355–560 mm and 630–900 mm respectively, with tappings in sizes 63, 75, 90 and 110 mm. The saddle is electrofusion welded onto the top of the existing pipeline, which means the tapping can be positioned wherever it is needed along the run. A dedicated installation tool is used for fitting, reducing the need for prefabricated branch fittings. Other sizes and other SDR classes are available on request.
