About the product
Straight reducing coupling is a plastic compression coupling for pressurised PE water systems, where two pipes of different sizes are to be joined. The coupling is used PE to PE and covers the size range 16 to 110 mm, with reducing combinations from 20x16 up to 110x90 mm. It withstands a working pressure of 16 bar, making it suitable for both service pipes and distribution networks for drinking water. The sealing system consists of a pre-lubricated double lip seal together with a grip ring that mechanically locks the pipe. As the seal is pre-lubricated at the factory, no extra lubrication is needed, and the coupling is installed by inserting the pipe and tightening the nut. This makes installation very quick and easy, even in tight trenches, and the coupling can be dismantled and reused if required.
