Extension band for saddle branch fitting 900mm

The extension band is used together with Fernco flexible saddle branch fittings at 45° and 90° when the pipe's outside diameter is larger than the saddle's standard installation band can handle. The band is 900 mm long and increases the possible OD range by 285 mm, allowing the same saddle type to be used on larger pipes. It is manufactured in acid-resistant stainless steel EN 1.4436, giving good corrosion resistance when installed in the ground. The saddle branch fittings can in turn be installed on all types of smooth pipes regardless of wall thickness, for example PVC, PE, steel, cast iron/ductile iron, concrete, asbestos cement, GRP or vitrified clay pipe. During installation, the band is placed around the pipe and tensioned together with the saddle's backing plate. The saddle branch fittings are designed for pressures up to 0.5 bar and a maximum working temperature of 50 °C.
