About the product
The end cap is used to plug and pressure-seal a pipe end on copper pipes in pressurised water systems. It fits copper pipes with an outside diameter of 12.7 to 25.4 mm and is rated for a working pressure of 16 bar. The cap is approved for drinking water and made of PP. Installation is entirely mechanical: the pipe is inserted into the cap and the nut tightened, after which the grip ring mechanically locks the pipe and the pre-lubricated double lip seal seals against the outside of the pipe. The sealing system is pre-fitted and pre-lubricated from the factory, making installation quick. The end cap is part of the BlueSeal range, which covers sizes 16 to 110 mm and is available in many variants.
