About the product
The straight coupling with valve is used to connect pressurised water systems in PE, whilst also providing isolation directly at the joint. It is also available in versions that go from PE pipe to copper pipe, making it useful for service connections and conversions where two pipe materials meet. According to the page, the BlueSeal range covers sizes from 16 to 110 mm and a working pressure of 16 bar. The coupling body is made of PP. Installation requires neither welding nor heat: the pipe is pushed into the coupling and the nut is tightened, after which the sealing system with pre-lubricated double lip seal and grip ring both seals and locks the pipe against pull-out. The pre-lubricated seal allows the pipe end to be inserted with low resistance, giving quick installation even in confined trenches.
