About the product
BlueSeal universal straight coupling with valve is a coupling in PP that joins pressurised water systems in PE whilst also providing a means of shutting off the line. The range is available in sizes 16 to 110 mm and withstands a working pressure of 16 bar. The coupling is available in many variants, which means that straight joints and transitions can be solved within the same system. The sealing system consists of a pre-lubricated double lip seal and a grip ring that locks the pipe. Installation is very simple: the pipe end is inserted into the coupling and the nut is tightened, without welding. The pre-lubricated seal reduces friction during installation, allowing the pipe end to slide in easily, which shortens installation time in the field. The valve is integrated into the coupling, so the line can be shut off at the joint.
