About the product
The BlueSeal universal straight coupling with male thread is used to connect pressurised water systems in PE to threaded connections. The coupling withstands a working pressure of 16 bar (PN 16) and is available in a wide variant range with male threads from R15 up to R50, designed for pipe outside diameters within the ranges 15-21, 21-27 and 27-35 mm. As the same thread size is offered for several pipe diameter ranges, both transitions and adaptations can be solved with the same coupling family. The coupling is made of plastic and is very easy to install: the sealing system consists of a pre-lubricated double lip seal together with a grip ring that locks the pipe. The pipe is inserted into the coupling and the nut is tightened, giving a restrained and tight joint without welding or special tools.
