About the product
BlueSeal straight coupling joins two pipe ends in pressurised water systems of PE and is used where a joint needs to be made quickly without welding. The range is available in sizes 16 to 110 mm and withstands a working pressure of 16 bar. The coupling has a universal end at both ends, meaning the same coupling can handle pipes with different outside diameters within its clamping range, allowing the number of items held in stock to be kept down. The body is a coupling in PP, and sealing is achieved with a system of pre-lubricated double lip seal ring combined with a grip ring that locks the pipe in place. During installation, the pipe is inserted into the coupling and the nut is tightened, making installation much easier and faster than jointing by welding.
