PE knife gate valve for in-line installation. A knife gate valve for installation directly into an existing pipeline, either with a coupling onto the spigot end or onto a flange. The gate moves vertically within a rigid frame and seals against a self-adjusting EPDM strip on all four sides, and is tight in both flow directions, both on and off the seat.

Unlike the wall-mounted gates, both the gate and the frame are made from 316 marine grade stainless steel, giving a higher pressure class: at least 10 mVp. The standard is a non-rising TR20x4 stem with clockwise closing. Operating temperature: Continuous 80 °C Intermittent 100 °C

The item number indicates the outside diameter (OD) of the spigot end. The range covers DN100 to DN600, corresponding to OD110 to OD630. Installation onto the spigot end is carried out with a coupling: measure the width of the coupling, mark half this measurement on both the valve's spigot end and the connecting pipe, and tighten the clamping bolts in sequence to the coupling's specified torque, starting at the shear band. For flange mounting, flange bolts and gasket are not included. The valve must be fully supported and vertical. The product was previously marketed under the designation PEG. The supplier's documentation is a draft (V001AUG26) – the items are not yet in the price list and price is available on request.
