About the product
BlueSeal universal straight coupling connects pressurised water systems in PE with pipes of other materials and outside diameters. The coupling is end-load resistant and rated for a working pressure of 16 bar. The main components are injection moulded in polypropylene, and sealing is achieved with a patented system featuring a pre-lubricated double lip seal. To install, chamfer and clean the pipe end, mark the insertion depth, loosen the nut and turn the pipe in to the pipe stop. The nut is then tightened with the appropriate installation tool to the specified tightening torque. The same system is also available as bends, end caps and couplings with a valve.
