About the product
The repair coupling is a straight, end-load resistant compression coupling for connecting pressurised PE water systems. It has no internal stop, which means the pipe can be fed through the coupling so the joint can be positioned wherever needed on an existing pipeline. The coupling is available in pipe sizes 20 to 110 mm and is rated for a working pressure of 16 bar. The body is manufactured in polypropylene and the seal is based on a patented system with a pre-lubricated double lip seal ring. During installation, the pipe ends are chamfered and cleaned, the nut is unscrewed to the outermost thread, the pipe is turned into the coupling and the nut is tightened with the intended installation tool to the specified torque for the size.
