About the product
The angled coupling 90° is used to angle off pressurised water pipelines in PE whilst also transitioning to a male thread. BlueSeal is available in sizes 16 to 110 mm with thread connections from R15 to R100 and withstands a working pressure of 16 bar. The coupling is end-load resistant and is based on a patented, pre-lubricated sealing system with a pre-lubricated double lip seal ring, with a coupling body in polypropylene that makes it easy to handle in the trench. Installation is carried out without welding or heat: chamfer and clean the pipe end, unscrew the nut to the outermost thread, turn the pipe in to the pipe stop and tighten the nut. Final tightening is carried out with the dedicated installation tool to the specified tightening torque, which varies with the size. The range includes many variants, and loose parts such as nuts, grip rings and lip seal rings are available for service.
