About the product
Tapping adaptor flange is a solution for fitting standard flanged tees onto a pipeline that remains pressurised, without shutting off the water flow. This makes the adaptor ideal for work on live pipe networks, not least for hydrant installations on "duckfoot" connections where isolating valves are not permitted. Sealing is achieved via a rotating shut-off blade with double internal sealing, giving watertightness in both directions. Tapping is carried out using a separate tapping tool.
